Make your voice heard!
Residents have helped shape the plan and will have the final say when they vote on the half-cent local sales tax next fall.
On Tuesday, November 3, Plymouth voters will consider three separate ballot questions:

Question 1
Asks voters to consider a half-cent local sales tax to fund a $55 million investment to expand and renovate the Plymouth Ice Center, including the construction of a fourth sheet of ice and major building updates.

Question 2
Asks voters to consider a half-cent local sales tax to generate $55 million to build a new, permanent athletic Fieldhouse to replace the seasonally inflated dome at the Plymouth Community Center.

Question 3
Asks voters to consider a half-cent local sales tax to support a $25 million investment in a new regional sports complex at the former Four Seasons Mall site, featuring a synthetic turf championship soccer field and a multi-sport field to support lacrosse, youth football and other activities.
There are three ways to vote on the referendum:

Early in Person
Plymouth residents can vote early in person Friday, September 18 through Monday, November 2, 2026 at Plymouth City Hall 3400 Plymouth Blvd.

Early by Mail
To vote early by mail (absentee), residents must first request an absentee ballot application. Requested absentee ballots will be mailed out beginning Friday, September 18 with instructions for how to fill out and return your absentee ballot. Completed ballots must be returned by Election Day (Tuesday, November 3) to be counted.

In Person on Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. City residents can vote in person on Election Day between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at their normal polling places. Find your polling place here.
